In the last post we said that according to Romans 3:27, faith is a spiritual law or principle that creates all matter (so faith matters). If you read the scriptures (2 Corinthians 4:13 and Romans 10:9) that support this truth, you will understand that this is how faith works: speaking the Word of God with your mouth and believing the Word of God in your heart (this becomes creative power).

This means that when we get in the Word of God and see what God’s grace has provided, we can take these scriptures through the law of faith by believing that what God has said is true and then begin to speak them over our lives.

Remember in Mark 11:23, Jesus said whosoever should speak to this mountain (not talk about it, not pray about the mountain, but speak to it) and believe in his heart those things which he said, it shall come to pass and he can have whatsoever he said. This is how faith works.

Here are a couple of scriptures you can begin to speak over yourself every day:

Romans 8:37 – I am more than a conqueror

1 John 4:4 – I am a world overcomer

According to Proverbs 18:21, you can speak life to your life or you can speak death to your life. Let’s choose to speak life to our lives no matter how we feel or what it looks like. This is how we, through faith, take control over and change our circumstances in Jesus’ name.
